Power battery maintenance switch structure
The maintenance switch is set in the middle of the series circuit, and there is a fuse inside the maintenance switch, as shown in Figure 2-45. If the loop current is too large, the fuse is disconnected, and when the maintenance switch is pulled out, the high-voltage loop is in an open state. The positive and negative busbars are respectively connected with relays to the output terminals of the external load. Only when the positive and negative busbar relays are connected can the external power supply or battery charging be performed.

In case of emergency, high voltage system maintenance or battery maintenance and installation, the manual maintenance switch should be disconnected in time to cut off the current of the battery pack to effectively avoid electric shock caused by improper operation of the maintenance personnel and protect the safety of the maintenance personnel. . It is equipped with a 250A fuse inside to protect the safety of the high voltage system.
Because it involves high-voltage safety, it is very important to standardize the operation of the emergency maintenance switch. Non-standard operation may not only cause vehicle failure, but may also cause dangers such as high-voltage arcing. The emergency maintenance switch operating procedures are as follows:
① The emergency maintenance switch is only used in special circumstances, such as vehicle maintenance, electric leakage alarm, etc. It is not allowed to operate the emergency maintenance switch except under special circumstances.
② The operation of the emergency maintenance switch should be performed by professionals, and the operators should have received relevant training.
③ During operation, the operator must wear necessary labor protection supplies, such as insulating gloves, insulating rubber shoes, etc., and the voltage level must be greater than the maximum voltage of the battery pack. Before use, check whether it is intact to ensure safety.
④ After unplugging the handle of the emergency maintenance switch, it must be kept in a safe place until the maintenance is completed to avoid misuse.
⑤ After disassembling the emergency maintenance switch, you must wait at least 10 minutes before performing maintenance operations to ensure that the residual power of the high-voltage line has been released. If conditions permit, the recommended waiting time is 30 minutes.
