3. Coupling method of mechanical coupling
Generally, the mechanical coupling device follows the principle of conservation of energy, that is, the input power is equal to the output power. Different from the mechanical coupling mechanism can be divided into three types: torque coupling method, speed coupling method, and power coupling method.
(1) Coupling torque. The torque coupling refers to overlapping the input torque of the two power sources, and the coupling output speed is not the speed superposition of the two power sources. The typical gear power coupling structure is shown. The torque of the two power sources can be superimposed on the coupling gear. Due to the constraints of power conservation, the condition of the torque coupling device to achieve torque is that the input speed of the two power sources input a fixed proportional relationship, and cannot change the speed independently. (2) Speed coupling. The speed coupling means that the input speed coupling of the two power sources can be superimposed, and the synthetic torque is not a superposition of the input torque of the two power sources. in the typical planetary gear structure, the speed of the two power sources has nothing to do with each other and can control the input independently. Due to the constraint of power conservation, the synthetic torque and the two power source input torque have become a fixed proportional relationship, so the minimum torque can be independently controlled, and the minimum torque determines the other two torque.

1. Torque coupling combined mixed power driver system

1. Torque coupled type

Hybrid vehicles generally use two power sources, which require two inputs and one output mechanical device. The parallel hybrid dynamic driver system may have a variety of different structures. The torque coupling method can be achieved through various methods such as gear coupling, magnetic field coupling, chain or band coupling. The common torque coupling type is shown in Figure 2.20 to 2.22. As shown in Figure 2.20, the transmission structure diagram is used, Figure 2.21 shows the electromagnetic coupling transmission structure diagram, and Figure 2.22 shows a fixed axis gear transmission structure diagram.

It can be seen from the type of mechanical coupler that the dual -power source can be entered from different axes or directions of the coupler, or input from the same axis or direction.
