Terminals, also known as contacts, are the core parts of automotive connectors to complete the electrical connection function. It is generally a formed hardware component that is crimped (welded) on a wire and transmits signals through close contact between terminals, such as male terminals, female terminals, ring terminals (large current), etc.

The male terminal is generally a rigid part, and the shape is cylindrical, sheet, pin, etc.
