Compared with internal combustion engines, the structure of electric vehicles is flexible. This flexibility comes from the following unique characteristics of electric vehicles:
① The energy transfer of electric vehicles is mainly passed through flexible wires, not through rigid coupling and rotating shafts. Therefore, the arrangement of various components of electric vehicles has great flexibility.
② Using different types of motors (such as DC motors and AC motors) will affect the quality, size and shape of electric vehicles: different types of energy storage devices (such as batteries and fuel cells) will also affect the quality, size and shape of electric vehicles. The layout of the automotive driving system is different (such as an independent four -wheel drive system and a hub motor drive system, etc.), which will make the driving system structure very different.
③ The battery adopts different energy storage devices, and its layout form, location, and control methods are very different.
④ Different energy devices have different hardware and institutions. For example: The battery can be charged by induced and contact -type chargers, or the battery is used to concentrate the replaced battery.
