2.2 terminal abdication

Connector terminal abdication will directly lead to interruption of the connecter current or signal transmission, resulting in loss of function, which is a highly severity failure mode.

There are generally the following reasons for the end of the connector terminal.

1) Reason for assembly process. Most of the invalidation of this kind of failure is because the terminal is not installed in place, and the terminal and the shenthine have not formed an effective hanging. At this time, the terminal is in a virtual hanging state (Figure 3), which makes it easy for the terminal to get rid of the protective cover when it is stressed. The situation is generally that the assembly workers do not strictly implement the requirements of the "one -to -two listening to the pull" when assembling the terminal, resulting in defects.

2) Product structure reasons. Due to the structure or material reasons, the terminal or protective cover causes insufficient strength of the terminal and the sheet hanging structure (the terminal does not meet the standard requirements in the protective cover). Pull out the situation. There are generally two cases of this defect: one is insufficiently pulled the end of the end of the terminal (Figure 4); the other is that the tongue strength of the protective cover is not damaged by the tongue strength (Figure 5).

3) Connector to the centralized center offset (Figure 6). There are generally the following reasons for this situation: ① The mixing center of the connector is inconsistent, and the interference of the plug -in terminal and the socket terminal or socket sheath of the connector will cause the terminal to be pushed out; Excessive large, resulting in the offset of the connector in the center of the interpolation process, causing defects; ③ The plug terminal and the plug -in sheath -type cavity are too large, or the plug terminal is lacking in a reliable positioning structure in the sheet, resulting in the end -offset of the end of the terminal head. , Thus affecting the normal conversion of the connector; ④ Deformation after the interface is pressed, which causes the terminal to be offset after assembly, leading to defects.

Therefore, the problem of avoiding the connection of the connector first requires the connector to have sufficient maintenance.
