2. Composition of automobile circuit
Like ordinary circuits, the automotive circuit is also composed of power, load and intermediate links. The power supply in the car includes batteries and generators. 3. Features of automobile circuits
Although the automotive circuit has a variety of functions and different structures, they all have the common characteristics below.
(1) Two power supply
There are two power supply provided on the car, namely batteries and generators. Electric energy required for automotive electricity equipment is provided by the battery and generator.
(2) Low pressure DC
The two power supply on the car provides DC power, and its power supply voltage is generally 12V or 24V. The rated voltage of automobile electrical equipment also has 12V and 24V. Generally, gasoline vehicles generally use 12V power, while heavy diesel vehicles mostly use 24V power.
(3) Electricity equipment parallel connection
The electric equipment in the car is parallel.
(4) Single -line system
Under normal circumstances, two wires are connected with two wires between electric equipment to form a loop. The electrical equipment on the car uses metal parts such as automotive engines, chassis or body as a common connection wire (commonly known as iron) for various electricity equipment. There is only one wire connection between the electric equipment and the power supply, which is called a single wire system. The current of any automotive circuit is departed from the positive electrode of the power supply. After the wire flows into the power equipment, the metal frame flows back to the negative electrode of the power supply to form a circuit.
