Inert gas shielded welding

There are many welding processes in the production and manufacturing process of air conditioning systems and compressors. The use of inert gas shielded welding (using inert gases such as nitrogen to exhaust the oxygen in the pipeline before welding) will ensure that the inner surface of the pipeline does not oxidize during the welding process. If the welding process is not protected by inert gas, the generated oxides will flow into the compressor with the flow of refrigerant, damaging the insulation of the winding, and even sticking to the wiring terminals, causing terminal sparking and discharging, and ultimately leading to electrical safety accidents.

Solution to Poor Moisture Insulation

When the operating environment is hot and humid, the poor sealing of the compressor junction box cover and insulation gasket can lead to water droplets easily adsorbed on the surface of the terminal blocks, resulting in insufficient electrical insulation performance of the terminal blocks. Select box covers with different waterproof levels for the compressor rain test. The test results show that as the waterproof level of the compressor box cover increases, the internal water content of the box cover decreases after the rain test. The IPX3 waterproof level meets the requirements of the compressor rain test. By establishing a dust-free production workshop with constant temperature and humidity, and optimizing the sealing of the junction box cover, the problem of poor insulation of wet resistance in compressors can be solved.

Terminal blocks made of silicone ceramic

Most rotary compressors use wiring terminals with a glass body structure. This article compares the performance of wiring terminals with a silicone ceramic structure and a glass body structure through experiments. The results show that the performance of wiring terminals with a silicone ceramic structure is superior to that with a glass body structure. Using a silicone ceramic structure can improve the reliability of wiring terminals.
