Z63 injection molded automotive connectors have strong toughness and good pull-out force within half a day after injection molding. No water treatment is required. At the same time, the water absorption rate of Z63 is only that of PA66. One-sixth of that, the pulling force will not be affected by the humidity of the use environment.
3. When the PBT and PA66 connectors are below minus 30 degrees Celsius, they are easy to be brittle. Z63 injection molded connectors have good low temperature resistance and are not easy to be brittle.
4. The toughened PBT and PA66 solve the problem of brittle fracture at room temperature, but at the same time, when used at 60 to 120 degrees, the pulling force will drop sharply. Z63 injection molded connectors can maintain good pullout force and toughness under normal temperature, low temperature and high temperature environments.
5. In the application of multi-PIN automotive connectors, PBT and PA66 injection molded connectors will have warping problems, mainly because the fluidity of the material is not good enough, requiring relatively large pressure and speed for injection molding, and the internal stress is large. , so the warping will be more obvious. Z63 material has excellent processing fluidity, which can help you solve the warpage problem
3. When the nozzle material of PBT is added to the new material to inject the connector, it is easy to become brittle, because PBT is easy to hydrolyze at high temperature. The Z63 material has excellent high temperature hydrolysis resistance, and when the amount of nozzle material added is as high as 35%, it has very little effect on the mechanical properties of the connector.
