The structure of the stator
The function of the stator is to generate alternating current. The stator consists of a stator core and a stator winding. The stator core is formed by laminating annular silicon steel sheets with grooves in the inner circle.
The stator winding is a three-phase winding, which is placed symmetrically in the stator core slot according to certain rules. The requirement for winding three-phase windings is to make the three-phase windings generate three-phase symmetrical electromotive force with the same frequency, equal amplitude and phase difference of 120° electrical angle. For this reason, when winding a three-phase winding, the placement position of the winding should be reasonably determined. There are two connection methods for three-phase windings: star connection (referred to as connection) and delta connection (referred to as △ connection). When the connection is adopted, the three ends X, Y, and Z of the three-phase winding are connected together, which is called the neutral point, and the three starting ends U, V, and W are used as the output ends of the alternator. When the △ connection is used, the beginning of one phase winding is connected to the end of the other phase winding, and there are 3 contacts in total, and these contacts are the output ends of the alternator.1.
